Jay Pundit and Company a well established law firm based in the heart of KwaDukuza, Kwazulu Natal, was founded in the year 1970, by the Late Mr JayPrakash Pundit. Mr Pundit was later on joined by his wife and Co-Partner Mrs Priscilla Pundit. Mrs Pundit has been recognized by the Law Society of Kwa Zulu Natal and now the Legal Practice Council as the oldest, black, female practicing Attorney in the Province.  She is practicing currently for over 44 years.

Shortly thereafter, Jay Pundit and Company welcomed a third partner to the firm, namely Mrs Nishana Panday, the daughter of stalwart Mr JayPrakash Pundit.

In the year 2015 the firm suffered a great loss in that, the Founder and icon of Jay Pundit and Company, Mr JayPrakash Pundit was called to rest.   The values and ethics instilled by the late Mr Pundit, continues to resonate with Justice, Fairness and Equity.

To this date we memorialize our gone but not forgotten stalwart in making the firm a bigger success behind the very humble beginnings in a South Africa plagued with injustice (1970’s).
